Georgia-pacific
I began my position as Interactive/Digital Designer for Georgia-Pacific (GP) on June 17, 2019. I was placed there by 24Seven, a creative talent agency in Atlanta, GA, and I currently hold this role. GP owns several retail brands, including Angel Soft toilet paper, Quilted Northern toilet paper, Brawny paper towels and Dixie paper products, as well as several commercial brands.
As a designer inside PIXEL, GP's internal creative agency, my initial job description primarily involved emails, but I was quickly given opportunities to work with other teams, including FB advertising sprint teams, the e-commerce team and the core PIXEL team (that handles non-email creative requests).
Some of my work has yet to go live, so I unfortunately can't share those projects - this includes the work I did for the e-comm team, such as the homepage banners for all the retail brands' new websites. Something I can share, however, are the email templates I was asked to develop for each brand. Using an existing template our Design Lead developed, I expanded and designed a suite of emails for all our retail brands. I then separated each module, converted them to smart objects, and created a drag-and-drop email design functionality using Adobe CC libraries, drastically speeding up the creation process.
Less than the design, I want to use this project as an example of my ability to manage assets and make design processes more efficient. The hero image and the above left are the module libraries for Brawny and Angel Soft, respectively. The image above and to the right shows my personal asset management initiative - an experimental project with lots of new assets and palettes came into my hands, and before designing anything, I separated everything out into libraries to make the design process as seamless as possible. See the templates in action below!
I've created many emails, so I handpicked the ones where I was given the most creative liberty. Brawny's Tear-A-Square product won a Product of the Year award, so the above email centers around a "surprise" coupon value for Brawny products. I created the GIF (pronounced like the peanut butter) inside of After Effects, using the built in particle simulators for the confetti. After Effects is my passion program, so crafting GIFs is one of the most enjoyable aspects of this position (I've even started enjoying the optimization process, though I suspect out of necessity). Below are a few more emails:
Finally, below are two additional GIFs - one for Quilted Northern and the other for Dixie. I wish I could share more of my work thus far, but all in due time!

Did you see this sh*t?!
